Blast Soccer for 3-5 year olds - Fall 2024

The J’s Blast Soccer program provides a safe and fun environment for children to become engaged with the sport of soccer in an age-appropriate setting. J staff coaches will introduce participants to the basic skills and rules of soccer through fun games and drills; and game play added for the 4/5 year old division. A jersey and an award will be included. Players from previous seasons will use their same jersey for the Fall season.
Dates: Sundays (September 8 - October 13)
3/4 Blast (Kindergarten Fall 2026) -- Sundays 9:00-9:45 am OR 10:00-10:45am OR 11:00 - 11:45am (choose your time)
4/5 Blast (Kindergarten Fall 2025) -- Sundays 12:00-12:45pm OR 1:00-1:45pm OR 2:00-2:45pm (Schedule will rotate weekly)
Registration Fee: $130 with member discount $95 (Add $20 late fee beginning August 5)
Cancellation Fee: $15 cancellation fee through July 16, 50% cancellation fee July 16 - August 26, NO refunds after August 26

K/1 First Touch Soccer - Fall 2024

The J's Kindergarten/1st Grade First Touch Soccer program is our next step in introducing the game of soccer to kids at a young age. This includes learning the basic skills and introducing the basic rules/concepts of the game. The program has a separate practice days and game days. All practices and games are led by J staff coaches. Jersey and an award will be included.Players from previous seasons will use their same jerseys for the Fall. - This program is co-ed.
- Practices will be held one night a week at The J and will be led by our coaches on staff
- Practices will begin Wednesday, August 28
- Games will begin September 8th
- Games will take place on Sunday afternoons at a field near The J (Shawnee Mission South Turf!)
- Rosters and schedules for practices and games will be sent out closer to the start of the season.
- First graders may choose from First Touch and Strikers programs (see below for info on Strikers program)
Program Fee:$175 with member discount $125 (Add $20 late fee August 5)

Strikers Soccer 1st- 6th Grade - Fall 2024

The J's Striker soccer program focuses on working to improve both technical (individual) and tactical (team) soccer skills. Strikers soccer is not defined as recreational or premier, but rather a combination of the two, so players hoping to eventually go competitive, or those playing just for fun both have the tools they need to succeed.
League Play Program
For those seeking skill development and game-play experience, we form teams that are coached by our staff. All practice sessions are located at or near The J. Staff coaches, jersey, league fee, and an award included. Players from previous seasons will use their same jerseys for the Fall.

1st/2nd Grade Boys (for more advanced 1st grade players; 1st graders also have the First touch program option above)

**Games for all age divisions will be scheduled on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons. Shabbat observance will be respected when assigning game times.
